The contract involved extraordinary maintenance for the structural and hydraulic adaptation of the Biauzzo water tower, located in the municipality of Camino al Tagliamento on behalf of CAFC S.p.A.
This was a performance-based tender in which the company proposed technical solutions to improve the auction-based project, such as: simplification of management, reduction of energy consumption, use of high-performance concrete, and reduction of maintenance costs.
The project involved bringing the tower structure up to seismic safety standards, consisting of the application of steel bracing, damping systems, and reinforced concrete cladding on the walls and shaft. In addition, functional upgrades were carried out through a complete revamping of the plant components and public works attached to the production plant.
Thanks to this work, the structure has been made safer, more efficient, and compliant with current regulations, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting water service for the community it serves.
